Actually, I found a picture of a Germanic warrior with a coloured shield like the design of flag A.
The design I made was not exactly the same, but more based on it qua forms and colouring.

So, qua symbolism, I wouldn't know what it would stand for. :confused:
But what do you yourself think it could stand for?

i'd say some highly stylized version of Yggdrasil maybe?
or some kind of bicephalous bug. but then it wouldn't be so Germanic. ;)

I found the picture I took inspiration from for flag A.
Google "netherlands batavian warrior" and the first picture in Google Images is the one!
